LNG 171 Turkish I: This course introduces the basic knowledge of Turkish. It aims not only to enable students to use the acquired grammatical patterns but also to improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening comprehension skills. The course is geared to A1.1 and to a part of A1.2 of the A1 level of CEFR.

LNG 179 – Advanced Turkish II: This course builds on the skills development of the basic and intermediate courses. Students develop their fluency in all skills and will be required to demonstrate a command of writing, an ability to express themselves clearly and concisely, an ability to read effectively a broad range of material and an ability to follow lectures and talks in Turkish. Students will also deepen their language knowledge in selected topics. This course is geared to the second stage of the C1 level of CEFR.
