The Second Foreign Language Program offers “Turkish as a Foreign Language” evening courses designed specifically for international faculty members of Bilkent University and their family members. The courses are suitable for both beginners and participants with prior knowledge of Turkish.

These courses are designed for the international academic community of Bilkent University.
Eligible participants include:
- Faculty members of Bilkent University
- Postdoctoral researchers
- Ph.D. students
- BLIS members
- Instructors of the English Preparatory Program
- Family members of the above participants
Course Levels
TTP 550 – Beginner Level I (A1.1–A1.2)
Introductory course for learners with little or no prior knowledge of Turkish.

TTP 551 – Beginner Level II (A1.2–A2.1)
Continuation of TTP 550 for learners with basic prior knowledge.

TTP 552 – Beginner Level III (A2.1–A2.2)
Continuation of TTP 551 for learners with prior knowledge.

TTP 553 – Intermediate Level I (B1.1)
Continuation of TTP 552 for learners who have completed the basic level.
